Serving fresh tea since 2018
If you don't know what 'serving tea' means, you need to watch Ru Paul's Drag Race. It was one of the many inspirations of Shady Gifts.
The origination of Shady Gifts actually happened over dinner with a friend. The dinner chat somehow wound up on the topic of "wouldn't it be great if you just had 'twat' written across a necklace" and so, Shady Jewellery was born! After design work began on a line of inappropriate necklaces, other ideas started to flow. Not so long after, Shady Jewellery became Shady Gifts and the rest is history!

We always try to make sure that we source fairtrade and good quality products from our suppliers.
Organic & Recycled Materials
Many of our products (including our tote bags and t-shirts) are made with organic and recycled materials. We also minimise plastic in our packaging.

Every product we make goes through rigorous checks to make sure it meets our high standards before shipping.
Designed & made in house
Every product you see has been designed by us (except the Namaste T-Shirt!) and made in house. We source blanks and apply our designs to them.
Shady Gifts' Shady Founder
The brains behind the whole thing, Alyssia Bailey, founded Shady Gifts in 2018 after deciding to go solo and give her crafty side a real chance. Alyssia says "I have always had two sides to my personality, my super creative, crafty side, and my snarky, dark sense of humour (I credit that to growing up with brothers) so, I thought, why not combine the two! the ideas come a little too easy for Shady Gifts but I love coming up with new designs that turn into real-life products, that I get to make!"
